Besides the publication of its research activities in peer-reviewed articles the CO2solstock project will organize the following dissemination events:
- a CONFERENCE AT EUROPEAN LEVEL - Ecole Centrale Paris (France), March 9, 2012: the project and its key results will be presented with a view to informing and encouraging other similar initiatives amongst other stakeholders and to engaging a scientific debate around sequestration. Participants include International and European bodies, Universities, research centers and industries.
- the organization of a TRAINING DAY for researchers in order to transfer knowledge on CO2 microbial sequestration and to enhance scientists’ knowledge and expertise. This event will take place in Belgium, at the Brussels Natural Sciences Museum, in February 10, 2012.
- the creation of a NETWORK OF EXPERT SCIENTISTS in CO2 sequestration by microbial carbonatation so as to form an expertise group and promote CO2 microbial sequestration research among the scientific community.
- a final reporting step, including a synthesis report destined to public bodies, investors and industries to stimulate the industrial development and implementation of microbial sequestration, as well as an educational document for scientists and researchers to build up course materials and to spread the basic finds of the project.
