- 'Feeling the heat' is a document produced under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). This guide provides an introduction to climate change and shows how the international community is responding.

Geo-engineering
This section provides more information about geo-engineering. The US National Academy of Sciences has defined geo-engineering as "options that would involve large-scale engineering of our environment in order to combat or counteract the effects of changes in atmospheric chemistry."
- The Royal Society has published the document 'Geoengineering the climate: science, governance and uncertainty' presenting the findings of a major study into geoengineering the climate. This study provides a detailed assessment of the various methods and considers the potential efficiency and unintended consequences they may pose. 01 September 2009
