Project coordinator

The University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Research & Innovation, is the project coordinator of CO2SolStock.

Our project manager is Dr. Bryne Ngwenya, who’s a senior lecturer in geomicrobiology at the School of Geosciences, University of Edinburgh.

The project manager will supervise the implementation of the project as a whole, the articulation between each work packages and their complementarity. He makes sure that the work program is respected and the deliverables are produced according to the planned milestones. He will be in charge of WP VII. The project manager will be in constant contact with the work package leaders using all communication means (internet, email, phone, web communication service, etc.).

The project manager is responsible for the reporting to the EC and to the Steering Committee. Other responsibilities encompass:

arbitrating & balancing conflicting priorities and resources;
providing guidance to the WP leaders and users of the project's outputs;
considering ideas and issues raised;
reviewing the progress of the whole project.
The project manager ensures the work of the project is undertaken as agreed, whereas the Steering Committee provides support, guidance and the executive oversight of progress.
